Weekend 3 of the San Francisco Open Studios features more cutting-edge exhibitions from the city’s art scene.
Studios are open Oct. 20 and 21 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. This weekend features artists in the following neighborhoods: Bernal Heights, Castro, Duboce, Eureka Valley, Glen Park, Mission, Noe Valley, Portola.
Here is a very brief list of artists worth checking out:
• Patrick Shiiba, 511 Gates St. at Tompkins Street, painting.
• Takashi Ishii, 31 Landers St. #2, between 14th and 15th streets, drawing.
• Priscilla Otani, photography, at Art Explosion 17th Street, 2425 17th St. near Potrero and Hampshire. Handicap accessible.
• Blue Studio, 2111 Mission St., between 17th and 18th streets. A.J. Oishi, painting, Handicap accessible.
• WorkSpace Ltd., 2150 Folsom St. between 17th and 18th streets. Eve Miyasaki, painting.
