The eighth annual LitQuake, a Bay Area literary festival, will include the following authors:

Saturday, Oct. 6, from 4 to 5 p.m.: Wendy Nelson Tokunaga (Midori by Moonlight) as part of “Ladies Last Lit: Grrl-Power Girl Hour” at the Koret Auditorium, Main Library, 100 Larkin St.

Tuesday, Oct. 9, at 7:30 p.m.: Gail Tsukiyama discusses The Street of a Thousand Blossoms at Kepler’s, 1010 El Camino Real, Menlo Park.

Friday, Oct. 12, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.: Jan Yanehiro and Jackie Speier (This Is Not the Life I Ordered) as part of “Feisty Femmes: Facing Challenge with Humor, Grace and Brains” at The Bubble Lounge, 14 Montgomery St., San Francisco.
