Madame Michiya Hanayagi presents her 50th classical Japanese dance recital Sunday, Oct. 7, at 2 p.m. at the Japanese Cultural and Community Center of Northern California, 1840 Sutter St. in San Francisco Japantown.

The performance will be open to the public and donations will be accepted at the door.

Dancers will include: Rika Baba, Elizabeth Driskill, Kelly Eshima, Stephanie Gee, Felicia Hoshino, Allison Ishida, Karen Kai, Annie Lo, Rochelle Lum, Yaylor Matoba, Izumi Murase, Kaname Nagasawa, Nobuko Nakajima, Lauren Noguchi, Taylor Noguchi, Kyoko Peterson. Kiane Sujishi, Sean Tanaka, Michiruriya Hanayagi, Michibara Hanayagi, Michikiya Hanayagi, Michisuya Hanayagi and Michiya Hanayagi.

The group appears at many community events, including the Cherry Blossom Festival.
